From Darkness to Light
I reach office really early... by about six. This morning, soon after reaching, I went out to the office terrace for a quick cuppa.
Bombay is dark at that hour. The terrace and the surroundings were dark, gloomy, depressing, bleak. I felt oppressed... as if the darkness was closing in on me.
And then I looked up... there was the half moon in the sky - resplendent, bright... in borrowed light, yes, but it has reached high enough, where it has found it's source of eternal light.
Put this on our world-view now... we look at situations and feel hopeless, dark and dreary. But if we know how to rise, we can reach a place, where the sun is always in view. All that is around, is only light!
Amazing, no? The moon is assured. A promise that there will never be any darkness. Provided you rise high enough.

Sometimes you don't have the strength to rise and look beyond. But yes, I do believe that there is always light at the end of the tunnel and whatever happens, happens for the best. P

for me the moon is the ultimate sign of beauty. it just reinstates the fact that beuaty can not be flawless.
There have been nights when I am truely depressed and my mind is full of too many thoughts, looking at the moon helps me forget all that. I can keep starring at it forever.

The sky appears to be awaiting
All laden with murky grey clouds
The moon struggling to tear apart
The pretentious mask of the obscure

@ P - Oh, of course, it DOES get too difficult often to carry on... but you know what, there is hope as long as you strive... to hope, to believe in change...
@chinks in the armour - Thanq :-)
@dana - Thank you, Dana. And welcome to my blog.
@dreamyeyes - It does, doesn't it... I find the moon very uplifting...
@ekta – Oh yes, we do… and know what… the best part is unlike the moon in the sky, our moon keeps changing… so that there’s never a moment of dullness.
@anand – Welcome, anand… it was peaceful, yes, but it wasn’t an evening… early morning…
@dewaker basnet – thank you… I guess nature has this way reflecting everything that you see within you…
@mrinalini – I get up at about 4 ish… want me to give you a wake up call?
@ J-O-S-H (My Bench !) – Thank you. Welcome. What does your name mean, but…
